Exterior Townhouse Design – Jennifer Pacca Interiors
Project Overview
We collaborated with Jennifer Pacca Interiors to produce photorealistic 3D exterior renderings of a townhouse development. Using V-Ray and 3DS Max, the goal was to provide the builder with high-quality visuals to gain project approval and showcase the development on their website.
Scope & Goals
The renderings were intended to:
Help the builder secure approval for the proposed design of 3 exterior renders.
Showcase the development in a way that highlights its architectural details, landscaping, and curb appeal.
Provide marketing-ready visuals for use across the builder’s website and promotional materials.
Challenges
Lighting & Shadowing: Achieving natural daylight shadowing across multiple units while ensuring accuracy in the window reflections and facade lighting.
Design Revisions: The client was highly detail-oriented, requesting multiple iterations ranging from specific landscaping adjustments to trim detailing.
Drawing Adjustments: Midway through the project, revised architectural drawings required layout changes, meaning we had to pivot and rework parts of the design without delaying delivery.
Our Solutions
Conducted detailed shadow studies to align the renderings with natural daylight conditions, ensuring realistic and consistent lighting across the facades.
Incorporated client feedback at each stage, refining siding textures, trim details, and landscaping elements to match their exact vision.
